Warranty and Policy on IMPACT Transmissions

All IMPACT Transmission Units, or TU's for short, are warranted for 6 months
from delivery date. TU's must be maintained properly and not modified in any fashion. Any modification or attempted modification to the Transmission Unit by anyone but an etoarmour.com service technician will void the warranty.
TU's must be oiled before initial use at each shaft and both sides of each
gear using a good motor oil in the 10w-40 range. A light grease must be put
on the gear teeth. It is recommended that oiling be performed again after 10
hours of use, or more frequently in dusty or high stress invironments. It is recommended that for severe service, such as competiton events, the TU's be removed from the AFV, cleaned, and lubricated after 10 hours of use. Failure to lubricate the Transmission Unit before initial use or failure to perform periodic lubrication and maintainence on the units will void the warranty.
For any warranty service, customer must return the TU to the warehouse with a written description of the problem after notifying etoarmour by email to etoarmor@yahoo.com and obtaining permission to return the TU. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to warehouse. Service technician will then diagnose for any defects and determine if product is covered under warranty. Service technician's diagnosis and determination is final. In the event warranty repairs are needed, all necessary parts will be
replaced at no charge, and the TU will be returned at etoarmour's expense.
Etoarmour.com will not pay for shipment to etoarmour.com facility.
Etoarmour.com will only warrant and guaranty IMPACT Transmission Units sold
and delivered by etoarmour.com. Transmission Units sold and/or delivered by anyone other than etoarmour.com will not be serviced under warranty by etoarmour.com.
